Philip Otken, the founder of Hyper-Ad, started the company in May 1996.

He also works as an Oracle DBA, Oracle Developer, UNIX System Administrator and has worked for Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., Cyber+Plus Corporation, Decision Consultants, Inc., IBM, Tivoli, Trammell-Crow, Merry Maids, Renaissance Worldwide, Technical Tutoring and Advanced Micro Devices. His areas of expertise include Oracle database administration, Windows and Unix system administration, web design, online marketing,  client-server software testing, and practical applications of technology to business.
